It is time for MGhelmets.com to undergo some major changes in the next few weeks.
I want to thank all of you. It has been a pleasure “meeting” so many of you, even if it is just through email. I have established a few friendships and working relationships that I am very grateful for through this strange hobby of mine. I have heard from so many of you and really do appreciate the kind words, compliments, encouragement and support.
This site started as a hobby when my life was much less complicated and the “helmet world” was relatively sane. In the 8 years since the launch of the site, my life has changed immensely and the “helmet world” has gone completely crazy. I simply don’t have the time to keep up with the constant changes and one-game helmets that are introduced weekly. And frankly, the ridiculous amount of new helmets on a weekly basis, have taken some of the fun of what this site was meant to be. I always said if I didn’t have the time or passion to do it to my 100% satisfaction, I’d shut it down.
I’m not sure yet if the site will even exist much longer or if it will morph into something else.
I’ll just have to see how I feel about things moving forward.
Again, thank you all for everything over the past years.
It has been a lot of fun having this outlet and hearing from my “fans”.
