Birmingham pro franchise helmets
Birmingham, Alabama has had a long and interesting history with pro football. After the success of the WFL (in Birmingham, not the entire league), Birmingham was on a short list for the next NFL expansion team in 1976. Thanks to the failure of the city leadership, that did not happen. In the years to follow, Birmingham has seen a few pro teams come and go. No matter what the league or situation, fans always came.
